Hello and Happy New Year!

Before I begin narrating this post, I just want to let everyone know that from now on I am going to be posting a song at the top of each blog post. Thank you. 

Now... moving on to today's outfit! The theme? Cat-face blouse by Moschino. Why? I don't know; because I was once told I look like a cat. Lol jk. 

Since I can't offer much historical fashion context as to why I chose to wear this blouse other than referring to Kenzo's magnifique Tiger sweater and Givenchy's Rottweiler tee.  

And please don't mock the coat - it's my signature! 

Ok I lied about the history bit, there is context. In Spring 2012, the orange and black look of the leopard headed back to the closet in exchange for cuddly kitten faces. Fashion basically tried to re-chic the old sweater of a wolf howling at the bright yellow moon or a t-shirt of an iguana going for a snack (thank God!) Fashion is cyclical and reactive, the designers are always looking to rethink what's out there to create a different effect. 

And I also think that animals are always in style; Everyone just loves them - except Roberto Cavalli! (In case you missed it, I was being sarcastic.)
